Top 5 Disc Golf Discs Friday October 16, 2026

The big story on Oct 16, 2026 is a fairway driver making a very loud move without needing a flashy new name. The Axiom Crave jumps from #10 to #4, and if that doesn’t sound like a disc lots of players trust, I don’t know what does. According to the latest DiscList rankings, the top of the chart stays familiar, but the buying momentum underneath it is all about controllable flights and stress-free execution.

Let’s get the steady bit out of the way. The Discraft Buzzz is still #1, clocking up an almost comical run at the top. The Axiom Pixel holds at #2, and the Innova Destroyer sits at #3 like it owns the place. That is a Top 3 that screams, “I want one disc for point-and-shoot, one disc for clean putting, and one disc for moments of unreasonable ambition.”

Then the Crave kicks the door in. Moving six spots into the Top 5 is no gentle shuffle. It is the sort of jump you see when players want a fairway they can power down, power up, and still keep in play. The Crave’s appeal is that it behaves like your sensible mate at league. It will push straight, give you workable turn, and not punish you for being a bit late on the release. Also worth noting, Axiom already has serious representation near the top with the Hex at #5 and the Envy nudging up to #6. If your bag has started looking like a cosmic vending machine, this week’s sales data says you’re not alone.

The other eyebrow-raiser is the Innova Mamba. It leaps from #17 to #8, which is a proper Top 10 statement. A very understable 11-speed climbing like that usually points to one of two things: either a lot of players are chasing max distance without max effort, or the community has collectively remembered that hyzer-flips are fun. Probably both. Meanwhile, the MVP Glitch slides from #4 to #9. That does not read like a rejection, more like the initial hype settling into “still popular, just not the only conversation” territory.

Elsewhere in the Top 15, the little jostles tell a familiar story. The Wraith drops one spot to #7, the Mako 3 slips to #10, and the Berg falls to #11. None of that feels like panic buying in reverse, it feels like shoppers spreading their attention across a few different types of comfort discs. The Discraft Zone climbs to #12, which is the most predictable thing in disc golf. If people are tweaking their line-up, they still want an overstable get-out-of-jail option for approaches and forehands.

Outside the limelight, the week’s wildest move belongs to Discmania’s Rainmaker, flying up 470 places to #136. That is not a chart takeover, but it is a proper “hello, we’re back” moment in the wider buying conversation.

If this week had a mood, it is trust and touch over bravado. Of course, give it seven days and we’ll all be buying something faster than we can throw. See you next Friday for the next twist in the rankings.
