Top 5 Disc Golf Discs Friday October 2, 2026

The Oct 02, 2026 Golf Disc Rankings have the sort of top spot stability that makes you squint and ask whether your browser has refreshed. The Discraft Buzzz is still #1, extending its long reign, and it continues to be the sport’s equivalent of that mate who never cancels plans. According to the latest DiscList rankings, though, the story this week is not the throne. It’s the shuffling in the court.

Start with the putting and touch game, because buyers clearly have. The Axiom Pixel holds firm at #2, and it is also flagged as heating up. That combination usually means one thing: people are not only trying it, they are sticking with it. The MVP Glitch climbs from #5 to #4, also heating up, which is a very disc golf thing to do. We all pretend we are buying it for “catch rounds” and then we’re out there using it for touchy upshots because it makes us feel like magicians.

Two other risers in the Top 10 point to a familiar autumn mood: trust the classics, trust the feel. The Innova Wraith moves up to #5, and the Axiom Envy edges up to #8. That is a fairly clear signal that players want discs that do exactly what they say on the tin, especially when the wind starts acting smug. The Kastaplast Berg climbing into #10 from #11 completes the vibe. Nothing says “I’ve had enough of rollaways” quite like adding a Berg to the bag.

Not everyone gets to enjoy the glow-up. The Axiom Hex drops two places to #6 after sitting #4 last week. That’s not a dramatic fall, more a gentle nudge that the midrange spot behind the Buzzz is always being auditioned. The Mako 3 also slips one to #9, which fits the same theme: people are loyal to straight mids, but they will still test alternatives when their form feels a bit wobbly.

Elsewhere in the Top 15, you can see the bag-building logic in action. The Axiom Crave stays at #7, the Innova Firebird sits at #12 doing Firebird things, and the MVP Wave ticks up to #14. The Axiom Proxy jumps two spots to #15 and it’s heating up too. Put that next to the Pixel’s stability and it looks like a lot of players are shopping in the “putter pairing” aisle, one for putting comfort, one for clean releases off the tee.

Outside the headline slots, the biggest jumps are properly silly in the best way. Prodigy’s F5 rockets up 498 places to #145, and Discraft’s Mantis leaps 355 spots to #287. That is usually either a restock hitting at the right moment, or a lot of players deciding that controllable, workable fairways sound like a better plan than trying to throw distance drivers like tour pros.

Next week, keep an eye on whether this putter-heavy mood keeps building, and whether the Hex claws back ground. The top might be calm, but the shopping carts are not.
