The Jul 31, 2026 Golf Disc Rankings come with one headline moment that makes you check you read it right. MVP’s Control has rocketed from #32 to #10. That is not a gentle rise, that is a full-on “I’ve been playing well in field work and now I’m buying discs about it” kind of move.

Based on DiscList weekly sales data, the top of the chart also did a neat little shuffle. The Destroyer is back at #1 (up from #2), while the Buzzz drops to #3 after holding the pole position last week. Nothing panic-inducing for Buzzz fans. It is still right there, and it will probably outlive us all, but it does hint at buyers leaning a bit more driver-happy this week.

The rest of the Top 10 reads like a tug-of-war between calm and chaos. The Pixel edges up again to #2, and I love what that says. When players are buying putters in volume, it is usually not because they fancy feeling pain on the practice green. It is because they want a disc that behaves. The Pixel is that mate who turns up on time and does not talk you into bad decisions.

At #4, the Crave stays planted, which is quietly impressive given how much movement is happening around it. It is the classic “I want a fairway I can throw on a rope without thinking about wind, release angle, and my childhood” purchase. The Wraith holds #5 too, keeping Innova’s sensible-bomber lane well stocked.

Then we get to the horsepower section. The Wave climbs to #7, the Zeus makes a large jump into #8 (up five), and the Mamba slides into #9 (up three). That combination is telling. Players are shopping for distance, but not all of them are shopping for the same kind of distance. The Zeus is the confident overstable pick for rippers and headwinds. The Mamba is the “I would also like extra metres, preferably for free” option that newer throwers and rollers keep flirting with.

And back to that Control move. A 22-place leap into the Top 10 usually means one of two things. Either a run restocked and people pounced, or word-of-mouth has hit the tipping point where buyers go from ‘I’ve heard of it’ to ‘fine, I’ll try it’. Given MVP’s presence elsewhere in the Top 15, it feels like a broader moment for the brand rather than a one-off blip. The Glitch dipping to #11 and the Trail sliding to #13 do not kill that story, they just suggest attention is being redirected towards discs that look a bit more “tournament round” than “park catch”.

Outside the glamour spots, there is another little theme: familiar fairways are getting love. The Leopard climbs to #14 and the Thunderbird rises to #15. That is buyers choosing trust and utility, the kind of discs you can throw when your form is only half-cooperating.

Regional flavour adds a fun wrinkle too. The Americas have the Zeus at the top of their list, while Europe puts the Crave first. Oceania leans midrange with the Mako 3 leading the way. Same sport, different shopping mood.

Next Friday’s list has a tasty question hanging over it. Does the Control stick around and start acting like it owns the place, or does the Top 10 bouncer show it back out after one loud night?
