The headline story on Jul 24, 2026 is simple: the Buzzz is still #1 and it is not taking questions at this time. According to the latest DiscList rankings, we are now watching one of disc golf’s great traditions, players buying the same midrange they already trust, because it keeps doing the job when the rest of their bag is having a minor wobble.

That calm at the top is almost the point, because it makes the movement below it easier to read. The Destroyer stays locked at #2, the Pixel at #3, the Crave at #4, and the Wraith at #5. If your mate says they are “trying something new”, there is a good chance they mean “the same classics, in a different stamp”.

The first real tell is the Axiom Hex nudging up to #6, swapping places with the Mako 3 which slides to #7. That is not a big swing, but it is a very disc golfer swing. When people want a straight midrange, they oscillate between “pure point and shoot” and “point and shoot, but with a bit of modern feel”. The Hex has that comfy, workable line shaping that makes you feel like you threw well, even if you actually just got away with it.

The bigger noise is down at the bottom of the Top 10. The MVP Wave climbs from #11 to #9, and then the MVP Trail comes charging in from #16 to #10. That is the week’s clearest buying mood: controlled distance drivers are getting love, especially ones that do not demand a full power audition every throw. The Wave is the familiar “I can push this far but still get it back” pick, and the Trail’s jump suggests plenty of players want a slightly slower, friendlier option that still looks like a proper drive in the air.

Just outside the Top 10, the Discraft Zone dips from #10 to #11, which is funny because the Zone also shows a “heating up” tag. That reads like a disc that is still selling well, but got nudged out by the current crush on distance. It will be back in the mix the moment people remember that scrambling is where scores are saved and pride is lost.

The other eyebrow-raiser is the Berg taking a tumble from #9 to #15. No panic, it is still very much a Berg, and Berg people will continue to be Berg people. This looks more like a week where shoppers wanted a bit more glide and a bit less brick, especially with summer rounds and tailwinds whispering bad ideas into everyone’s ear.

Outside the spotlight, the wildest leaps come from Clash. Candy rockets up 498 places to #101 and Berry jumps 423 places to #63. Neither cracks the Top 40, but those are proper “people are stocking up” moves, the sort you see when availability improves or a buzz wave hits the right group chat.

Next Friday’s list has a few pressure points: will the Trail hold its Top 10 seat, and does the Wave have another step in it? Either way, I will be here watching the moving parts while the Buzzz carries on pretending it cannot hear us.
