Top-ranked discs on Friday December 19, 2025

Right then, just as December begins to freeze fingertips, the Zone decides to warm things up by climbing four spots to grab #2. It’s a proper flex from Discraft’s overstable kingpin, and arguably long overdue. Yes, Buzzz is still clinging to top spot like an overcaffeinated barn owl, but there’s a new nosy neighbour sniffing around.
The Zone’s jump is fascinating from a human perspective. Winter rounds skew shorter and slower. Players tend to lean into discs they trust on technical shots—flicks, forehands, and forehands after too much turkey. The Zone’s control and torque-resistance tick all the right boxes for off-season bag security.
Hot on its anti-glide is the Glitch, MVP’s feather-light floaty friend, making its entrance into the Top 10 for the first time ever. It’s now #10, leaping past Innova’s Wraith with the elegance of a swan on rollerskates. Here’s the thing: the Glitch is less a disc and more an emotional support object. It’s the kind of disc you warm up with, teach beginners on, and then accidentally ace your mate’s heart hole with.
That move into the Top 10 gives MVP and sister-brand Axiom four discs among the elite ten—Crave (#4), Hex (#5), Pixel (#6), and now Glitch (#10). That’s not product loyalty. That’s a cult with plastic frisbees.
Elsewhere, Discraft’s Luna cooled slightly, dropping to #8, but Berg fans remained stalwart, keeping Kastaplast’s cult putter firmly in place at #9. Meanwhile, the Destroyer slipped a peg to #3, but don’t let that fool you. It’s still the hammer of choice for countless arms that think they throw farther than they do.
Buried just outside the spotlight, Discmania’s Sensei quietly leapt 40 spots to #75, and Malita continued its curious upward creep to #153, despite literally nobody discussing it outside of backroom Discord chats. Blink and you’ll miss the comeback of the Leopard3, back at #26 after seven weeks off like it was just grabbing snacks.
Next Friday wraps up the year with what could be a spicy finale. Will the Zone keep climbing? Will someone finally shift the sleepy Buzzz from its perch? Or will we all be gifting Glitches wrapped in recycled shipping boxes?
Either way, don’t blink. See the full Top 40 and stay sharp.
