Top 5 Disc Golf Discs Friday November 7, 2025

This week’s Golf Disc Rankings (November 7, 2025) read like a family drama with plastic protagonists — a tale of sibling rivalry, unexpected returns, and one Westside neighbour crashing the party with an axe.

Starting at the top, the Buzzz remains entirely unmoved, perched like an owl who’s seen it all. No surprise, really — when a disc remains atop the heap for 28 weeks straight, it’s less a midrange and more a cultural constant. But just beneath that unflinching flight path, things are getting interesting.

Axiom’s Hex, previously content to hover quietly at #4, has now overtaken the Crave and slotted into the #3 spot. That’s right — Crave slips to #4 after weeks of holding court as the darling control driver. It’s not a collapse, more of a graceful shuffle. But the shift signals growing affection for that do-everything midrange feel. The Hex is like that friend who turns up to a dinner party and somehow ends up hosting dessert — dependable, sneaky useful, and just fun to have around.

Elsewhere, the MVP Glitch holds position at #5 but still twinkles with a “Heating Up” badge. For a disc that’s loved as much for its floaty throws as it is for novelty putting, it’s becoming clear: what started as a gimmick has grown into a serious contender. Meanwhile, Discraft’s overstable Zone climbs to #6, once again proving that consistency with a spicy fade still sells.

But let’s talk hatchets. Westside’s Hatchet exploded from #159 to #78 this week — a proper Viking charge worthy of a longboat horn. Behaviourally speaking, it’s what I’d call the “Goldilocks effect”: players finding that comfortable sweet spot between flippy control and manageable speed. Add a few YouTube reviews lauding its versatility, and here we are: slicing through the noise.

Over in the putter pen, the Pixel dipped to #9 while Kastaplast’s Berg edged into the Top 10. The Pixel, while still generating chatter, may be finding its appeal slightly outpaced by more tactile, torque-resistant shapes. Or maybe it’s just winter putting season and everyone’s gone back to their trusty bricks.

Looking downmarket, MVP’s Chemtrail continues its steady climb with a 105-spot rise to #81. That’s not so much trending as it is taking off — fitting, considering the name. And don’t sleep on Innova’s Leopard3, which pounced back to #26 after seven weeks in the wild. A reentry like that rarely happens without a quiet fan-led groundswell.

So, what’s next? Will the Hex hold its midrange throne? Is the Hatchet’s rise just an axe-ident, or the start of something viral? See you next Friday for another twist of the rankings wheel.
