Top 5 Disc Golf Discs Friday September 26, 2025

If you blinked, you missed it. While the Buzzz continues its coronation lap at #1 for the 22nd consecutive week (someone give this disc a throne), the midrange ranks were thrown into delightful disarray by the Hex’s rocket-powered nine-spot launch. Axiom’s sneaky stable flyer is now perched at #2, up from #11, and frankly looking smug about it.

That move comes at the expense of Zone, which slipped to #5 despite still being marked as “heating up”—a curious contradiction that suggests momentum, but perhaps not podium form. Crave and Trail, Axiom and MVP’s dynamic duo, also soared this week, landing at #4 and #6 respectively. It’s starting to feel like Axiom discs are secretly fitted with caffeine-infused plastic.

The biggest plot twist? Leopard3’s surprise reappearance after seven weeks of ghosting the Top 40. Now back at #26, it’s the disc equivalent of showing up unannounced to a reunion… and everyone’s relieved it brought snacks. Leopard3’s return tells us something rather human: absence really does make the heart—and the putting hand—grow fonder.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, the Glitch edged up to #8, the Mako3 kept flirting with relevance at #10, while Discraft’s Luna faded to #11. Wraith and Mamba both slid down, suggesting Innova fans might be reconsidering their wind-fighting favourites as autumn breezes complicate their power-game.

Lower down, the MVP Reactor staged a late-season uprising, climbing a jaw-dropping 148 spots in four weeks. That’s not a rise; that’s an ascension. Meanwhile, Range cracked the Top 40 at #36 after leaping up 79 places. Big gains like these usually follow bursts of availability, fresh YouTube hype, or the most underrated motivator of all—someone’s mate swearing by it in their local WhatsApp group.

On the brand front, MVP inches up a spot (now #4 overall) while Streamline and RPM both sneak higher, thanks in part to strong showings from discs like the Uplink and Kea. The latter’s popularity is especially interesting given RPM’s rising regional clout—particularly in Oceania, where they’re playing the local favourite card to absolute perfection.

And speaking of regional quirks, the Americas saw some internal wobble but kept their top 5 discs consistent. Europe, meanwhile, clings to its love affair with the Berg and Reko combo, while Oceania doubled down on Axiom, putting three of its offerings in the local Top 5.

Next Friday? Expect a full moon’s worth of shifting energies. Will Hex challenge the Buzzz for the crown, or is this midrange mutiny just a blip? See the full Top 40 and find out.
