The Axiom Pixel has been flirting with the top tier for weeks, but as of August 22, it’s finally broken up through the noise, landing at #10 in the rankings. A quiet disruptor, the Pixel doesn’t make a lot of fuss—it’s the type of disc you hand to your mate who’s usually hopeless inside fifty feet, only to watch them drain a putt with a confused shrug. It’s no Envy just yet, but clearly, enough players are tossing it with trust.

And then there’s the Leopard3. The classic understable control driver from Innova is having a proper comeback, re-entering the Top 40 at #26 after a seven-week absence. It’s a bit like that reliable festival T-shirt you thought you’d grown out of—but somehow it still fits just right when the weather changes. There’s a comfort to its return, especially for players who favour late turn without the drama.

Elsewhere, the MVP Trail is on a noticeable march, climbing from #8 to #6. Appears folks are warming up to hybrid drivers that offer a balance of control and distance, a behavioural compromise if ever there was one. Meanwhile, the Glitch and Wraith have swapped dance partners just beneath the Top 5, showing that even the fan favourites can’t sit still forever.

At the very top, things remain steadfast: the Buzzz is once again Queen Bee, holding #1 for its 17th week. You don’t keep that many people consistently happy without mastering psychological safety. The Discmania Envy might get the glory throws, but the Buzzz gets the quiet taps that win rounds.

In regional news, the Berg is still king of cold hands in Europe, while the Americans continue their unshakable devotion to the Buzzz, Crave, and Destroyer trio. And in Oceania, the Destroyer remains dominant, though the Mako3 lurks like a Labrador after a stick—always sniffing around for relevance.

Looking ahead, the ascent of the Daredevil Yeti—now up 205 places to #45—is one to watch. Is it novelty, or is someone out there actually bagging a Canadian distance driver with a cartoon primate on it?

We’ll find out next Friday. Same time, same charts.
