Smell that? That’s momentum – and the Sidewinder’s got it pouring out of every understable seam. It’s this week’s eye-raiser, catapulting 125 places to crack the Top 40 at #39. That’s not a climb. That’s a vertical sprint with helium shoes. Why now? Likely a mix of YouTube form analyses, some cheeky field-testing chatter, and frankly, people remembering that glidey turn-flipping control drivers are still fun. Behavioural nudge: when players see a middling disc turn into the talk of the town, they reappraise it. Sneaky devil, social proof.

Then there’s the Leopard3, doing its best House of the Dragon impression: off-screen for weeks, then suddenly back and everybody’s talking. After seven weeks out of sight, it’s clawed back into the Top 40 at #26. Could be a run on starter packs. Could be a wave of nostalgia. Either way, it’s back, it’s throwing smooth, and folk are chucking it in carts again.

Meanwhile, the Top 10’s less flashy but no less telling. MVP’s Glitch swapped places with the Berg at #5 and #6 respectively – a subtle shift, but one that hints at a generational split: the Glitch crowd seem more taking-a-frisbee-for-a-walk, while Berg devotees prefer their putters to fly like compact anvils.

The Destroyer held tight at #3 but continues heating up, staying steadily terrifying in conversations about ‘max D with bite’. And the Hex? Still sat smugly at #2, its cultish consistency refusing to wane. Over in MVP’s garden, the Trail and Wave stabilised, quietly holding positions just inside the Top 15. No drama, just loyalty.

Down in the brand trenches, Discraft nudged Axiom out to reclaim the #2 brand slot. Glitch loyalists may have feelings about this. Across Discmania’s backyard, the Tactic made the biggest leap outside the Top 100, jumping 54 places to #113, which is… oddly fitting, given its reputation as a utility disc that you don’t remember until you need it.

Next week, keep your eye on the quiet risers – Ruru is creeping into Top 100 territory after leaping 118 spots. That’s aggressive for a putter. Someone’s been whispering about it in all the right Discords.

As ever, the full Top 40 tells the real tale. It’s all in the throws. And the scrolls.
